You&Me.WE Program

WHO WE ARE

 The You&Me.WE program educates and encourages individuals and couples to achieve and sustain safe, healthy and mutually beneficial relationships for life. 

Our services are open to all people regardless of race, color, creed, national origin, ancestry, sex, marital status, disability, religious or political affiliation, age or sexual orientation. 

We are funded by the Healthy Marriage Demonstration Grants Program through the U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services, Office of Family Assistance.

You&Me.WE offers relationship education workshops that teach skills which strengthen individuals in committed relationships and will help single individuals build stronger, healthier relationships as they seek a life partner.  Our workshops also strengthen the relationships of those in healthy relationships and are based on extensive research.  The skills we teach are proven to strengthen relationships.

The three different populations that we serve under this grant are as follows:

• Single participants ages 15+ (adult and teen)
  
• Couples (who attend the workshop together) ages 15+
• Expectant individuals or individuals who have just had a baby (in the past year) – can be male or female

We view relationship education as preventative. We help prevent relationships from falling apart and teach couples how to build stronger relationships. The result is stronger communities.

WHO WE ARE NOT

We are not attempting to sell anything, we are not a religious institution and we are not a dating service.  The reason we can offer many of our services for FREE or at a very low cost is because we receive full funding.  We think that everyone should have access to our services and by offering them at little or no cost, we help to do that. 

You&Me.WE programs and services are not intended to address the very serious issue of domestic violence. Abuse is never OK. If you feel you may be in an abusive relationship, call the Florida Hotline at 800-500-1119 (www.fcadv.org).

Family Resources Inc.

The You&Me.WE program is a program of Family Resources, Inc.

 Family Resources, Inc., is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to serving the children, youth and families in Pinellas County since 1970 and Manatee County since 1992.

Accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Family Services since 1996, Family Resources is recognized as the agency to turn to in the event of a family relationship crisis.

Our programs are designed to encourage the personal development of children and youth while working to strengthen and support healthy relationships among family members. Safe shelter, counseling, education, outreach, and appropriate referral and follow-up services are delivered in an atmosphere of caring, giving and acceptance.
